A comparative test was carried out on a residential property at Camping La Pirámide to evaluate the thermal performance of different coatings applied to a metal roof.

The measurements were taken on 31 July 2024 at 1:00 pm, with an ambient temperature of 39°C, using a FLIR E95 thermal imaging camera from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

The results showed that the untreated metal roofing reached a temperature of 72.1°C, while the surface treated with two coats of Q+Termik Exterior recorded a temperature of 35.4°C.

This 36.7°C difference demonstrates the coating’s ability to significantly reduce roof surface heating compared to untreated metal roofing, helping to limit heat accumulation caused by solar exposure.
