Reduction in surface temperature compared to the original substrate, improving thermal performance and waterproofing.
HARD ROCK CAFE IBIZA (1)

At the Hard Rock Ibiza complex, waterproofing and thermal improvement work was carried out on the façade and roof to protect the surfaces from solar exposure and reduce heat transfer into the building.

The work involved preparing and cleaning the substrate, inspecting joints and applying two coats of PROTECT, a continuous waterproof membrane formulated with natural cork and water-based resins. This system provides thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as anti-condensation properties.

Measurements recorded a temperature of 56.5°C on the original surface, compared to 46°C on the treated surface, representing a reduction of 10.5°C.

This intervention improved the thermal performance of the surfaces and provided continuous waterproof protection, contributing to indoor comfort and the long-term preservation of the substrate.
